Sweet Dreams

Dream:[Dreem] noun. 1. a series of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations occurring involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of speculation and interest throughout recorded history.

This summer, I have thought of alot of things. One thing that has annoyed the balance of my mind is the state of sleep known as dreaming. Why do we do it? Why is it that anything we want can appear in a dream, but never in real life? Why is sex something completely natural in dreams, but a complete taboo in real life? Why can I have cheese curls whenever I want in a dream, but have to pay 1.25 plus tax at a store for a bag of barbecue cheese flavored cheese curls that only has about 10 in the bag??? Things like that, you know? Well, I'm no scientist, and I'm surely not the lead doctor in the institute of the study of oneirology [study of dreams, for you jackasses who don't know how to use the internet [more like online dictionary] for it's actual uses] , but I do think alot about dreams, and most of you do know me to be quite a theorocist. Most recently, I had a dream about me and [insert name here] being very...well...relationship-ish. Now they say, when you have dreams about other ppl romantically, you obviously have feelings for them somewhere deep down. Well, to tell you the honest truth, I think [insert name here] is a complete immature jackass, who the last time i had feelings for was in 6th grade. So what exactly does that mean? Because I hate this person so, my brain simulated a "series of images, IDEAS, and emotions and sensations" as some sort of reverse psychology? Another thing. Why do ppl claim that dreams tell some kind of future? like when ppl say "I dreamt of fish last night" the first thing out of another person's mouth is "Uh OH! Who's pregnant in this room???" like WTF! WHat does fish have to do with the process of a sperm fertilizing an egg during a woman's ovulation cycle? or even when a person says they're in love with the guy who kissed them in their dreams! What makes ppl think its love when they get kissed? and what makes them think that the person will feel the same way because they volunteerily kissed last night while you were stuck in your "series of images, IDEAS, and emotions and sensations"!?!?! What people dont seem to wrap their minds around when they read the definition of Dream is "IDEA"! No one can tell me that they've never fanticized about someone who they think is absolutely adorable physically, but in every other way is absolutely revolting!?!?!? THats the question when it comes to dreams. Why don't ppl realize dreams are just ideas that the human mind creates from what you think of, as to some, sweet dreams, and to others such as myself, cruel, comedic, and completely tragic entertainment? Last night, before I went to bed, my father said "Suenos Dulces, nino." After being a victim of my "series of images, IDEAS, and emotions and sensations", my dulce suenos was more like a HERMOSA PESODILLA, that brung me great laughs that will soon be the short comedic entertainment that will lighten my dark and destructive moods, ultimately giving me many SUENOS DULCES...
